Join Burnham Park Hall for a day full of events to mark 80 years since victory in Europe:
We will be marking this day with an exhibition in the hall, depicting life at the time and in collaboration with Burnham Heritage Society. This will be available to view in our foyer from 1st - 9th May 2025

Thursday 8th May
11 a m - Two minute's silence at the war memorial
11:30 am -1pm A talk from veterans and historians
4:30 pm - Tea dance with live music from our 1940's singer Vicci Davidson (this is a ticketed event, catered for by Simmons & Son Estate Agents)
6:30 pm - Church bells across the UK ring out for peace
7:30 pm - Quiz night with DJ - food and beverages available to purchase from the kitchen and licensed bar.
8:50 pm - 'Sing for you choir' performing at the war memorial
9:20 pm - Address from Burnham Parish Council Chair and Royal British legion President
9:30 pm - The lighting of the beacon & joining the country in singing 'I vow to thee my country'
