Tots Go Wild at Black Park Country Park

Explore and get messy at Black Park!

Join us in Black Pines Camp for some fun in the woods! We have a variety of activities for your tot to go wild, including the mud kitchen, the sand pit, bug hunting, games stations, water play, weaving, balancing, crafts and more.

What is Tots Go Wild all about?

Tots Go Wild is aimed at children aged 1-5 years (from when they can walk independently till they are in full-time education).

Tots Go Wild takes place on most Fridays during term time throughout the year. Sessions run from 10:00-11:30. This term runs from Friday 8th September - Friday 13th October.

There will be a themed activity each week, plus multiple other activity stations. The sessions are child-led, with the children being encouraged to choose what they would like to do to help them build on their self-esteem, confidence and independence. Towards the end of the session we gather together for refreshments and have a sing song!

You can casually book the date(s) you'd like to attend, or block book the full half-term (six sessions) to guarantee a place each week.

We go ahead in all weathers - unless deemed unsafe - so please dress appropriately!

Tots are also welcome to book onto our brand new 'Families Go Wild' sessions which take place on Friday afternoons should an afternoon suit you better. These sessions are for Tots, Homeschoolers and children with special educational needs. This is a mixed aged group session suitable for 1-10 year olds. We stagger the release of our tickets in line with the start of each new school half-term. Click here for more information.

Meeting point

Black Pines Camp (behind the picnic area, Foxley Copse). Just follow the blue and yellow butterfly signs anti-clockwise around the lake from the car park - it is about a 20 minute walk. Buggies are welcome! An example of the signs to look out for is shown below, as well as a map to show you the route to Black Pine's Camp from Black Park's Public Car Park (marked in yellow).

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation with the expectation of a refund or ticket transfer for a session must be made at least 7 days before the start of the booked-for session. Refunds for block booking are only accepted 7 days before the start of the first session, partial refunds will not be provided during the term. This is to allow enough time for others on the waiting list to be given the opportunity to attend. Unfortunately, refunds are not applicable for no shows, illness or not being able to attend. Refunds will be made in the event we cancel the session for example due to unsafe weather conditions/staff sickness. Eventbrite's fees are not refunded.
