Special Guest on Saturday: Lawrie of YouTube channel 'Lawrie's Mechanical Marvels', with his layouts.

Adults: £5.00
Child (5-16): £2.50
Family (2+2): £12.50

LAYOUTS:
Especially appropriate for an exhibition being held on Slough Trading Estate is the layout "Slough Estates Sidings" (pictured).
This is a faithful recreation of the area near the Farnham Road railway bridge in Slough, where the private Slough Trading Estate railway connected to the national network. Here were 'exchange sidings' where goods trains from the network could be dropped off, and wagons for the factories on the estate could be sorted and taken onwards by the Estates' own locomotives. This long O-gauge layout features models of almost all of the locomotives operated by Slough Estates over the years.

Also attending: OO gauge layout "Ropley", which has been featured in RM Web. This is a detailed model of the station and adjacent locomotive works on the Watercress Line, where "Slough Estates No.3" spent its first few years in preservation.
