Ruislip Lido is 20 min drive away from Slough. It is a great place for a day out with family. 

The Lido has a family friendly sandy beach with a children's play area and water splash pad. Adjacent are a Woodland Centre and café, toilets and changing rooms. Swimming in the lake is not permitted. 

There is a miniature Railway that runs through the woodlands skirting the Ruislip Lido Lake. This is Britain's longest  12" Gauge Railway. 

You can also follow the trail "Walk the Planets" which is marked by informative display board. 

There is a general car park situates at the end of Reservoir Riad on the left (parking charge apply).
