Explore and get messy at Black Park!

Come and join in some Forest School fun! There will be lots of things to get involved in including the mud kitchen, digging pit, bug hunting and more. You'll also be able to have a go at cooking on the campfire and using tools! We will go ahead in most weathers so please bring suitable clothing and expect to get a little messy. For this cooking special, we will be making pizza wraps on the campfire!

This session is primarily aimed at children of 5 -10 years old due to the use of tools and learning cooking skills, however we also have the same activities out that we include for the Tots sessions so that younger siblings can come along too. A ticket is needed for all children taking part. All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult for the duration of the session.
Activities should always be child-led with the children being encouraged to choose what they would like to do to help them build on their self-esteem, confidence and independence.
Please note we only have a fire October through to May, weather and safety dependent.

Meeting point
Black Pines Camp (behind the picnic area, Foxley Copse). Just follow the blue butterfly signs anti-clockwise around the lake from the car park - it is about a 20 minute walk for little legs.
