There is a footpath running along the boundary of the grounds to provide a circular walk and also makes it accessible for the disabled and buggies. There is a BMX track (helmet must be worn to use it), 3 play areas (including equipment for disabled) with climbing equipment, an outdoor fitness gym and a hard surface play area which is gated.  The recreation ground is well used by the local community and provides an essential green space for the area. It makes a great place for picnic. 

There is a pavilion with changing room facilities for the football teams who use the pitches regular at week ends and during the week. A basketball court is located next to the BMX track. 

There is a car park at the main entrance for approximately 40 cars which you can access via Saxon Court and it is free. 

I haven't seen any toilet facilities.
