Calling all budding film experts and adventurers - we are excited to take you all on a thrilling film walk, visiting locations of your favourite films! From Hagrid's hut to BB8's tree to Therezinosaurus's lair, we will be taking a 1.5 hour stroll through Black Park, showing you where all of these popular films were shot. Come dressed as your favourite character - Wizards and witches encouraged!

Pinewood studios sits right next to Black Park, and since the studios first opened, film crews have used the park for location filming. Productions popular with children that have filmed here over the years include: Harry Potter, Marvel, Jurassic World Dominion and Star Wars.

On the walk you will be led by a member of the Country Parks team who has been involved with many of the visiting productions in recent years. They will bring their unique insight of filming in the park to life through their talk, slides and stories.
Please wear suitable clothing and footwear for weather conditions.

This film walk is suitable for all ages but is aimed at children and films that are of interest to their age group. Children but must be capable of walking independently for 1.5hrs or be happy in buggy/pushchair for this amount of time.

The walk is suitable for all those who are able to walk at least two miles (under 18 years must be accompanied by an adult). Feel free to contact us, we’ll be happy to answer any questions you may have about the session!

Please note this tour goes across predominantly flat terrain, but some areas have exposed roots, muddy, and uneven surfaces, that may not be suitable for certain types of wheelchair or mobility vehicles. Please get in touch if you feel this may affect you and we can make adjustments to the tour where needed.

Meeting point:
In front of the Emma Sallis Play Area (a short walk from the public car park). There is a short walk from the car park to the play area - head to the lake and walk anticlockwise around the lake towards the Lakeside Café. The Play Area is just beyond the café.
